The FM-Approved AquaMaster FSM (AM-FSM) assembly provides high accuracy, long-life meter performance for services that provide both domestic and fire service flows, offering a cost-effective, revenue-enhancing alternative to mechanical fire-service designs. The AM-FSM meter exceeds the performance requirements of AWWA C-703 meters, offering higher accuracy in the normal flow range (±0.25% AC powered, (±0.5% battery-powered), a significantly broader flow range, and no crossover accuracy loss. With no moving parts the AM-FSM retains accuracy without repairs & testing, enhancing long-term accuracy and reducing maintenance costs. Compared to mechanical designs AM-FSM costs significantly less to install. The AM-FSM sensor is buriable, eliminating the cost of meter vaults. Displays can be either meter mounted or remote, making reading more convenient and less costly. For replacement of mechanical FS meters, both display and sensor are submersible, allowing installation in flood-prone vaults. The AM-FSM is sized to replace all mechanical-design fire service meters.
The MagMaster is an electromagnetic water meter operating on Faraday’s principle of induction. MagMaster covers the full flow range of most mechanical meters with a high accuracy. MagMaster is available in sizes 2” to 12” with industry standard 4-20 mA output of rate of flow data.
