RABORABO combines tried-and-tested product features of previous rotary gas meters from Elster-Instromet and is a convincing product because it offers a large range of future-oriented features. The device is suitable for measuring gases of the first, second and third families pursuant to EN 437:2009 and for measuring a range of technical gases.

RVG G16-G400

RVG G16-G400The RVG G16 to G400 meters operate on the displacement principle in a rangeability of up to 1:160.
The housing is made of aluminium or spheroidal graphite iron. The spheroidal graphite iron versions are firesafe up to a pressure of 4 bar.
The bearings are lubricated with oil. Two low-frequency pulsers come as standard as well as a tampering control contact. A high-frequency pulser can be supplied on request.

IRM-1

IRM -1In addition to the range of turbine gas meters, Elster-Instromet started over two decades ago with the design of rotary gas meters. The biggest challenge was to design a reliable meter, unaffected by installation effects, and for this the unique cartridge was designed. The meter basically consists of a measurement module and a pressure housing, separating the flow measurement from the process. The result is a reliable, high performance meter, with unprecedented flexibility.

IRM-3 DUO

IRM-3 DUONew markets, and thus new requirements, initiated the development of the IRM-3 series. Revolutionary in the design of rotary gas meters are the square shaped impellers or rotors, resulting in a compact, robust meter with a high turn down ratio and with a minimum of maintenance required. The combination of the compact design and the dual rotor design enabled flow ranges up to 1600 m³/h and high performance up to 16 bar.

STD CTR


STD-CTRSTD CTR
meters are intended for use where compensation to standard base condition is not required. STD CTR meters do not have any gas compensating features. When stable gas temperatures and pressures are significantly higher or lower than standard base condition, predetermined temperature and/or pressure factors can be independently applied to correct the STD CTR index readings to a base condition. Alternatively, it can be paired with a standalone volume corrector. The maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of the pressure body is: 175 psig

TC METERS

TCID

TC METERS are intended for use where temperature compensation to standard base condition is required. At higher fixed pressures, a predetermined pressure factor can be independently applied to correct the TC compensated index reading to the required base condition. TC meters have a non-compensated and a temperature compensated mechanical index counter.

STD ID & DCID


dcid-RM1500-2STANDARD INSTRUMENT DRIVE (STD ID) & DIGITAL COUNTER INSTRUMENT DRIVE (DCID)
When temperature, pressure or supercompressibility factors are a matter for concern, STD ID and DCID meters permit the mounting of a variety of gas recording or correcting instruments to handle the required factor(s) needed for further processing (refer to AdEC®). The STD ID and DCID are similar in design and function, however, the DCID meter has a built in non-compensated mechanical index counter.

TCID

TCIDTEMPERATURE COMPENSATED INSTRUMENT DRIVE (TCID) meters are similar in nature to the TC meter. TC meters are intended for use where temperature compensation to standard base condition is required and the supply pressure requires monitoring by an electronic pressure recorder. The TCID meter may also be used as a mechanical temperature back-up system when paired up to an electronic temperature/pressure recorder or volume

ADVANCED ELECTRONIC MODEL S (AdEM-S)

AdEM®-S is an electronic replacement for mechanical STD CTR to also include audit trail and communications. AdEM®-S meters are intended for use where compensation to standard base conditions is not required. The AdEM®-S has a built-in audit trail which will store certain metrological information over a predetermined time period.

The AdEM®-S also has the capability to generate other parameters, such as: flow rate, peak flow, previous day volume, daily volume, various alarms, battery level and voltage readings. Since the AdEM®-S being of electronic type doesn’t have any mechanical parts that could cause drag, the rangeability of the meter is increased. Low flow volumetric linearization feature enhances the rangeability even further up to 200:1 or better, with an error of less than ± 1.0%.

This new compact design module offers up to 20 years battery life in a service-free, weather resistant enclosure.

This device has fully developed one way communication features using RometLink computer software.

The maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of the pressure body is:

175 psig / 12 bar / 1206 kPa.

When temperature, pressure or supercompressibility factors are a matter for concern, the AdEC® is able to calculate and process the required factors for volume compensation. The AdEC® has a built in daily log, audit trial, and event logger (data logging system) which will store certain metrological information over a predetermined time period.

* Event Logger 200 events

The AdEC® also has the capability to generate other parameters, such as: uncorrected flow rate, corrected flow rate, uncorrected peak flow, previous day uncorrected volume, previous day corrected volume, daily uncorrected volume, daily corrected volume, various alarms, battery level and voltage, pressure and temperature readings, live or fixed super-x factor, etc..

A scroll button mounted on the bottom of enclosure or RometLink computer software ensure reliable, quick access to this information.

AdEC® meters have a non-compensated and a compensated electronic index and an additional non-compensated mechanical index counter (Meter mount version only).

Available in mounted or remote versions.

The meter mount version is mounted on a STD ID, DCID, or TCID meter.

The remote mount version is remotely connected by cable to a suitable STD CTR with pulser.
